Wash & Care Instructions

Preserving the Art of Hand-Block Prints At Mustahab, our garments are made using traditional techniques and natural dyes. To ensure your pieces stay vibrant and last for years, please follow these care guidelines:

First Wash: We recommend Dry Clean Only for the first wash to set the natural dyes.

Subsequent Washes: Hand wash separately in cold water using a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent.

Avoid Soaking: Do not soak the garment for long periods, as natural dyes (especially Indigo and Madder) may bleed slightly in the initial washes.

Drying: Always dry your clothes in the shade, inside out. Direct sunlight can cause natural colors to fade over time.

Ironing: Use a medium-to-hot iron. It is best to iron the garment while it is slightly damp or use a steam iron for the best finish.

Natural Variations: Please cherish the slight irregularities in print and color; they are a testament to the human hand involved in the crafting process.
